1. Ensuring and coordinating the use and application of ICT in the district level of the government.
2. Implementation of the head office instructions to provide support, maintenance and support to create ICT-friendly infrastructure in all the offices till the district level.
3. Transfer of technical and specialized knowledge of information technology at district level.
4. Take initiatives to provide services to the public through grassroots level and conduct information, dissemination and research activities.
5. Provide assistance for verification, verification of demand, standards and interoperability of field level apparatus etc.
6. Provide support for formulation of standard specification of computer networks, hardware and software.
7. Research, development and support for the modernization of modern technology at the district level.
